Adidas Launches Investigation Following Claims That Kanye West Showed Porn and Sexual Images to Staff

After Rolling Stone published an article detailing the experience of some Yeezy staffers under the reign of Kanye West as graphic, Adidas decided to launch an investigation into the conduct claims.

The company said in a statement on Thursday: “It is currently not clear whether the accusations made in an anonymous letter are true. However, we take these allegations very seriously and have taken the decision to launch an independent investigation of the matter immediately to address the allegations.”

In an anonymous letter, the allegations claimed that Ye showed pornographic and sexualized images of Kim Kardashian and, in general, to the Yeezy staff. He used the tactics to instill fear and maintain dominance in the work environment.

The article says that a group of Yeezy staff members came together turning in an anonymous letter, alleging when reported to senior leaders, they turned a “blind eye” and took “delayed action.”

A representative for Ye has yet to comment.

Ye’s partnership with the German sportswear brand was terminated in October after the musician went on an antisemitic rant on Twitter.

His public outbursts finally caused a rift between the brands he worked with closely. Vogue and Balenciaga have also severed ties with the artist.
