Adidas is trying to make Houston Rockets guard James Harden $200 Million richer, should he accept their offer. The company offered the $200M over the span of 13 years. Harden’s contract with Nike recently expired and they have until the end of next week to match Adidas’ deal.
You may recall Adidas, who has been the NBA’s uniform supplier for 11 seasons, has recently been replaced with Nike for the 2016-17 season. Adidas is offering Harden half of what they paid the NBA in those 11 seasons. That’s a huge deal!
