Adidas will be selling off the remainder of its Yeezy merchandise.
On Thursday, Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden said that the company will “sell parts of this inventory and donate money to the organizations that are helping us and that was also hurt by Kanye’s statements.”
The company has previously stated that because it is unable to sell the Yeezy clothes and shoes, it anticipates losing $1.3 billion in income this year.
Investors had initially pressured the company to decide what to do with the products after Adidas ended its partnership with Kanye West.
“When we will do that and how we will do that is not clear yet, but we are working on those things,” Gulden said. He added that the company has been “trying to find solutions” since the partnership ended.
In October 2022, Adidas and Kanye called it quits on their 10+ year partnership after he made anti-Semitic comments.
