After roughly 9 months away, Adrian Peterson will be suiting up today for his return to the Minnesota Vikings.
Peterson tells ESPN, “I’m returning because I want to. I’m a part of this football team and I owe it to the guys I play with and to our coaches.” He also dispels rumors that he would be missing OTA’s,  “I was planning on coming in this week and I’m looking forward to getting back on the field. It’s what I love to do.“
After missing 15 games last season due to legal issues, Peterson was concerned that he wasn’t properly backed by the Vikings organization. Because of the lack of loyalty, Peterson entertained interests of playing for another team. I guess that’s all water under the bridge and everything is once again, business as usual.Â
