Adrien Broner was arrested late Friday night in Miami Beach after police responded to a call that a male driver was passed out behind a black Rolls-Royce SUV.
The 30-year-old boxer was found behind the wheel of his SUV with the engine running. According to police, Broner was “unconscious, but breathing” while in the driver’s seat.
TMZ reports that the boxer woke up confused after the police had to shake the vehicle in order to get a response from Adrien.
Broner is said to have had slurred speech with bloodshot watery eyes. He was arrested on site after failing the sobriety test.
The boxer was taken to a nearby station, and bond was set at $1,000. He was held for 8-hours and released early Saturday morning.
After being released, Broner posted a picture of a newborn baby with the caption, ”Ahseir Juelz Broner ❤️#MadeSomePromisesIcantBreak.”
