Adrienne Bailon and Cheetah Girls Co-Star Raven-Symone to Reunite in TV Sitcom

The cheetah sisters are reuniting! Adrienne Bailon-Houghton will be joining Raven-Symone on the Disney series, “Raven’s Home.”

Adrienne, who was a part of the original series “That’s So Raven,” will reprise her character as Alana. Her character was initially Raven’s bully in high school but she will now star as the principal of Raven’s son’s school.

The duo hasn’t worked together since starring in the Disney movie, “The Cheetah Girls.” However, Adrienne is pretty excited to work with her cheetah sister again.

“I’ve always been hopeful about playing Alana again, so to be able to make it happen was a dream come true. We did the first Cheetah Girls movie when I was 19, and now I’m 38, so we’ve stayed friends for almost 20 years. We laugh at the fact that we were playing the high school students… and now we’re playing the parents. It’s so bizarre,” Bailon says.

Adrienne says she was “shocked” when she was asked to return to the show.

“How genius of the writers of this show to create that dynamic where the school bully becomes the principal. It’s funny and ironic, and I’m loving being the authority figure,” she adds.

The airing date for the upcoming season of Raven’s Home has yet to be released but we’re pretty sure it’ll be Cheetah-licious!
