Afroman has reportedly settled a lawsuit with a woman he punched at a concert, according to AP. The suit was filed against the singer, whose real name is Joseph Edgar Foreman, back in 2015 by a woman named Haley Byrd.

The incident occurred after Byrd snuck onstage during a performance at a Biloxi nightclub. Foreman pleaded guilty to assault charges for the incident.

Byrd later filed a suit against Foreman for damages for injuries and claimed that Forman dissed her by making a record that highlighted the assault. The song is called “Stay off the Stage.”

According to Byrd’s lawyer, Tim Holleman, the settlement will be signed next week and surrounding details of the deal will be released at that time. Holleman also says that Byrd has already settled a lawsuit with the nightclub.
