AirBnB is launching its collection of rentals inspired by iconic pop culture experiences.
The company is set to reveal 11 new experiences throughout this year, which will be hosted by the greatest names in music, film, television, sports, etc.
One of the unique homes is a floating ‘Up’ house in Abiquiu, New Mexico. It’s a replica of the 2009 Disney-Pixar film and will suspend guests 50 feet in the air with 8,000 balloons.
X-Men fans can stay in a replica of the X-Mansion in Westchester, New York. It has rooms like the War Room and Beast’s lab for training. Guests will also learn about their powers, get diplomas, and take a class photo.
Other iconic stays include the Ferrari Museum and Prince’s house from “Purple Rain” in Minneapolis, MN. Which includes an exclusive studio session, the Musée d’Orsay, and the Inside Out 2 headquarters.
Additionally, AirBnB will offer other unique experiences like a live living room performance by Doja Cat, a night with Kevin Hart in his secret speakeasy, or a stay at Janhvi Kapoor’s family home in Chennai, India.
As of this week, Airbnb started rolling out various experiences for booking, priced from free to $97 per person. Some are one-time, others have multiple dates. A two-step selection process will decide who gets invitations, with 4,000 being awarded this year.
