“Rather than trying to play victim or deflecting…I got to step up to the plate and be like, ‘Nah, I’m going to be better. I’m going to be better. I’m going to be better.’ My bad. Definitely my bad,” he told his livestream audience.
The comments in question were directed at a 15-year-old streamer known as NourGxd and included explicit hypothetical scenarios that many found deeply inappropriate. Among the remarks, Akademiks said, “Yo, if Max (PlaqueBoyMax) said he wanted to try f**king a dude, will you let him f**k you?”
The streamer responded, “No!” yet the comments continued, with Ak also asking him to have sex with an adult woman at one point. PlaqueBoyMax, a close associate, publicly condemned the remarks.
“These clips are nasty. It’s bad work. Nasty work… Ak, this s**t is very weird,” he said, emphasizing that he spoke to the streamer involved to ensure their well-being. Max also urged Akademiks to avoid repeating such behavior, stating, “Ak, I would appreciate it if you don’t do that type of s**t with my lil bro… Like, this s**t is not cool.”
NourGxd also spoke out, confirming that the stream was extremely uncomfortable for him. The incident has sparked widespread backlash, with countless people calling for Akademiks to be canceled for good.
