The New Yorker recently did an exposé on paparazzi site, TMZ, and how they manage to get the photos and videos that celebrities don’t want you to see. They cited Ray Rice’s elevator surveillance, George Clooney’s wedding photos, photos of Rihanna’s battered face following her 2009 domestic assault and more as examples of tipsters selling content to the online publication.
In the report, actor Alec Baldwin shared his thoughts on TMZ’s founder, Harvey Levin. “There was a time when my greatest wish was to stab Harvey Levin with a rusty implement and watch his entrails go running down my forearm . . . I wanted him to die in my arms, while looking into my eyes, and I wanted to say to him, ‘Oh, Harvey, you thoughtless little pig.’ ”
Baldwin’s ill feelings toward Levin may have come from that time in 2007 when TMZ posted about Baldwin calling his daughter a “rude heartless pig.” Baldwin went on to call Levin a “festering boil on the anus of American media.”
This isn’t the first time Alec Baldwin has expressed his feelings towards Levin. In 2012 he told Vanity Fair, “I wanted to stick a knife in him and gut him and kill him and I wanted him to die breathing his last breath looking into my eyes,” just before he quit Twitter.
The entire piece on TMZ is actually quite interesting and worth a read. Check it out HERE.
