Alex Spiro, a former prosecutor and super lawyer, has been hired by the family of Carole Baskin‘s first husband in hopes of cracking the case.
Sources close to the matter told TMZ the family hired Spiro to launch the 1997 disappearance of Carole Baskin’s first husband, Don Lewis.
The goal is for Spiro to get information on the case ahead of the “Tiger King 2” release.
According to TMZ, Spiro has gathered evidence and has already interviewed a key witness who gave “key” information.
Sources say Lewis’s family wants the attorney to identify a possible murderer and give the information over to prosecutors.
There’s been a lot of speculation that Baskin was involved in her husband’s disappearance, but she’s denied involvement.
Don Lewis’s assistant told the outlet that the day he went missing, he told her he was filing for divorce and moving out of the country.
