Algerian boxing Imane Khelif, who has been in the spotlight due to a gender dispute surrounding her participation in the Paris Olympics, is now taking a stand against the online harassment she’s faced. Khelif, who has been enduring intense scrutiny on social media, has officially filed a legal complaint to address the situation.
On Saturday, Khelif’s lawyer, Nabil Boudi, confirmed that the complaint had been submitted the day before. Khelif is determined to push back against the damaging narratives being spread about her. “All that is being said about me on social media is immoral,” Khelif expressed. “I want to change the minds of people around the world.”
