Alicia Keys To Publish “More Myself” Memoir Through Oprah’s Imprint

Late 2016, Oprah Winfrey launched her very own publishing imprint, “An Oprah Book,” under publishing company, Flatiron Books. Now, just three years later, the Media Maven has hand-picked the imprint’s latest non-fiction release, which is set to hit shelves this fall.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Winfrey has teamed up with R&B superstar, Alicia Keys, for the November release of her memoir, “More Myself.” The book, which has been described as “part autobiography, part narrative documentary,” will reportedly provide a “360-degree perspective” on Keys’ life, from her childhood in Manhattan to her award-winning singing career.

“I couldn’t be more ecstatic to share this part of my journey so far and all the ways I am continuously learning to honor my truth,” Keys said in a statement. “Alongside my sister, mentor, and friend Oprah, this book is one of the most exciting chapters yet.”

“I could feel the power of Alicia’s presence even before she belted out the first soulful notes of the lyrics that made her famous,” Winfrey said of the collaboration. “‘I keep on fallin’ in and out of love with you.’ I knew she had all those sparkling qualities that make stars shine. More important, Alicia has navigated the spotlight and presses of fame while retaining a humble and beautiful spirit. I am honored she chose to share her personal story through my imprint.”

Congratulations to Alicia Keys, will you be picking this book up?
