Amanda Seales is the latest celebrity to sit down with Shannon Sharpe, and things got a bit heated. She checked him several times after he questioned her experiences with racism, causing tense moments between them. When she wasn’t grilling Sharpe, Seales opened up about experiences she’s had in the industry and with a few well-known individuals, as well as her own issues. Joining the ranks of Katt Williams and Mo’Nique for some of Sharpe’s most iconic interviews, Seales made several shocking revelations during her viral time at “Club Shay Shay.”
Amanda Seales says Issa Rae never promoted her show
Amanda Seales finally addressed her issues with Issa Rae, whom she believed didn’t protect her. According to the comedian, Rae didn’t defend Seales in her feud with the producer and publicist Vanessa Anderson.

Additionally, she claimed Rae didn’t defend her when she was thrown out of a party by Anderson and also didn’t help promote her show, “Get Your Life,” despite it being produced by Rae’s HOORAE Media.
“She wasn’t empowering to me. She didn’t feel like I was needed,” Seales explained. “She didn’t feel like I deserved to be protected. I’m only giving a portion of the situation. But that was my experience. And nonetheless, I have still always protected her because I felt like it was my responsibility to do so. But it is not.”
Amanda Seales details her Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis
Amanda Seales stated that she was recently diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention classifies people with ASD as having problems with social communication and interaction, and restricted or repetitive behaviors or interests. People with ASD may also have different ways of learning, moving, or paying attention. These characteristics can make life very challenging.
“I was recently diagnosed as someone who has autism spectrum disorder, which is very difficult to identify in Black women because of racism,” Seales said, later adding, “What it typically means is that your brain functions in a different way, so you’re neurodivergent. And you also have certain tendencies that are considered outside of the neurotypical way of things.”
Amanda Seales dragged Emmanuel Acho for being the “white people’s savior”
Amanda Seales dragged sports broadcaster Emmanuel Acho for his unkind words towards Angel Reese. If you recall, Acho criticized Reese following LSU’s defeat against Iowa in the final 2024 playoff game. He famously stated, “Angel Reese, you can’t be the big bad wolf but then kind of cry like Courage the Cowardly Dog.”
Seales dragged him, calling Acho the “white people’s savior” for his comments. She also suggested that he operates in a way that makes non-Black people feel comfortable while making disparaging remarks towards his own people.
"Angel Reese is a young person. Do you know how disgusting that is?" – Amanda Seales
