Kyrie Irving recently tweeted about an antisemitic film available on Amazon. The promotion caused him to be suspended. But what’s puzzling is that Amazon still carries the film on its platform.

“Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America!” is listed on Amazon for rent at $10.99 or users can purchase it for $48.99 TMZ reported.

Irving received a lot of backlash for promoting, and at first, refusing to denounce the film. However, there hasn’t been much push for Amazon to pull it.

Amazon‘s listing of it also includes a “Watch and chat with others” feature, which is also listed on other TV/movies. But the problem is that it makes it that much easier for the hate to spread.

The Brooklyn Nets and Anti-Defamation League asked Jeff Bezos and leaders at Amazon to remove the movie. It remains unknown if the company will do so.

Kyrie is currently serving a five-game suspension after the Brooklyn Nets said Thursday, “We were dismayed today when given an opportunity in a media session, that Kyrie refused to unequivocally say he has no antisemitic beliefs, nor acknowledge specific hateful material in the film. This was not the first time he had the opportunity – but failed – to clarify.”

Following the announcement of his suspension, Irving apologized. “To All Jewish families and Communities that are hurt and affected from my post … I am deeply sorry to have caused you pain, and I apologize.”
