This past Sunday, an American Airlines passenger jet traveling from Cincinnati to Phoenix encountered an apparent UFO as they were flying over Northeastern Mexico.
According to a broadcast recorded by Steve Douglass on his Deep Black Horizon blog, at around 1 p.m. CST, the pilot said that the unidentified object was flying right on top of it. It was confirmed to Fox News that the transmission was from Flight 2292.
On the radio transmission, you hear the pilot say, “Do you have any targets up here? We just had something go right over the top of us.” He added, “I hate to say this, but it looked like a long cylindrical object that almost looked like a cruise missile type of thing moving really fast. It went right over the top of us.”
American Airlines confirmed that the radio transmission was authentic but did not further comment on the possible alien encounter.
In a statement, an American Airlines spokesperson told Fox News, “Following a debrief with our Flight Crew and additional information received, we can confirm this radio transmission was from American Airlines Flight 2292 on Feb. 21.” They said, “for any additional questions on this, we encourage you to reach out to the FBI.”
During the time of the sighting, Flight 2292 was about 37,000 feet in the air. According to Douglas, Albuquerque Center did not respond because local air traffic interfered.
Flight 2292 went on to land safely in Phoenix, Arizona.
Every year, UFO sightings by pilots are continuously increasing. In Feb. 2018, two independent pilots spotted beaming light objects about 50,000 feet in Arizona. Then between 2014-2015, Navy pilots encountered multiple UFOs flying at hypersonic speeds of up to 30,000 feet in the air.
