American Airlines wants to hire 400 people in Miami to work from home full-time as reservation agents.
You’re in luck for those looking for remote work in Miami. American Airlines is adding 600 full-time travel reservation agents, and they’ve already hired 200. The company says they expect to onboard another 400 in the next couple of months.
If you get hired, remote employees will help customers with travel needs like explaining flight schedules and costs and providing flyers with their flight details, CBS Local Miami reports. “These team members will join more than 1,500 new team members hired at Miami International Airport (MIA) in 2021,” airline officials said, per the news outlet.
“As the third-largest private employer in Miami-Dade County, these new full-time positions further strengthen our more than 30-year commitment to our community and to our Miami hub,” said Juan Carlos Liscano, American Airlines Vice President- Miami Operations, CBS Local Miami reports. It added, “With the record growth we’ve experienced in the last year, we’re thrilled to continue creating more jobs in Miami.”
