Former “Good Morning America” anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes have taken their relationship to the next level: the couple is officially engaged.
The pair shared the happy news on the October 14 episode of their “Amy & T.J.” podcast.
“We are sharing with all of you that we are engaged and we’ve been engaged for just about a month now,” Robach revealed to listeners. Holmes added, “We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to. We’ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship.”
The two couldn’t help but laugh as Holmes joked about Robach’s excitement to show off her new ring. “You’ve been dangling a ring in everybody’s face every chance you could, and nobody said a word,” he teased. Robach admitted she had worn her ring “very proudly” during several weekends at major football games but was surprised no one noticed. “And if people saw it, maybe they were just being polite,” she added.
Robach recalled almost posting a photo on social media before Holmes pointed out that her ring was “very prominent.” She decided against it to keep their engagement private until they were ready to share.
The newly engaged couple said they plan to share more about the proposal soon, but are currently celebrating with close family.
Robach and Holmes’ relationship began in 2022 and quickly became one of the most talked-about media romances.
