Exclusive: Angela Bassett Reveals She’s Producing A Limited Series That Will Be Coming Soon [Video]

Angela Bassett did the thing this past weekend at the NAACP Image Awards. She walked away with three victories for Entertainer Of The Year, Outstanding Actress In A Drama Series, and Outstanding Supporting Actress In A Motion Picture for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. 

Before the carpet wrapped, we spoke to the 9-1-1 star about her successes and what was coming. 

“It means the world to me to be in the Marvel Universe and play Queen Ramonda in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” she began. 

“It was the highlight of my career to play Queen of this advanced and beautiful Black nation.” 

Regarding what’s to come, fans may not see the actress in front of the screen in some of her future projects. 

“As for what to expect next, I have a few things coming out in the next year from films, television shows, and limited series that I’ll be producing,” she shared. 

“Lots of things, and they will all be good.” 

While we will forever give Miss Bassett her flowers, another actor whose aging gracefully and becoming a sex symbol is Method Man, who stopped by on the carpet and shared how he would react if he received the title of ‘Most Sexiest Man Alive’ from People Magazine. 

“More flowers and I would say thank you very much to them,” he began. 

“I doubt that will happen, but I take everything in stride as I’m very humble.” 

When asked about any other actors he would love to see receive more flowers from Hollywood in terms of acting roles and films, he shares he would love to see everyone win and wants to keep the door open for all.
