Angela Simmons is facing a default judgment of over $48,000 in a lawsuit filed by her former landlord, who alleges that she left her New Jersey penthouse without settling the rent.
According to TMZ, she started missing rent payments in late 2020 on her penthouse in Fort Lee, New Jersey, where rent is over $7,000 monthly.
A judge has ordered Simmons to pay a bill of $48,704.40, which includes rent, late fees, and costs resulting from her failure to pay rent on time.
