An anonymous man has come forward with allegations against music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming the producer drugged and sexually assaulted him nearly two decades ago. In a CNN interview aired this week, the accuser, identified only as John Doe, shared how the alleged 2007 incident has profoundly impacted his life.

Doe’s lawsuit, alleges that while working as a private security guard at one of Combs’ exclusive White Parties in East Hampton, New York, he was given two drinks by the music mogul. According to Doe, the drinks were laced with GHB and ecstasy.
After consuming the second drink, Doe claims he became “extremely ill.” He alleges that Combs forcibly pushed him into an empty vehicle and assaulted him despite his protests. “It was just an amazing level of incapacitation that I had never experienced before,” he told CNN.
The lawsuit also alleges that after reporting the incident to his supervisor, Doe was effectively blacklisted, ending his career in private security.
There were initial discrepancies between the details shared in Doe’s CNN interview and the original lawsuit, including the timeline of events and details about his personal life. The initial filing claimed the incident occurred in 2006, during a White Party in St. Tropez, and noted that Doe had never been married.
However, the alleged assault was later clarified to have occurred in 2007 at a White Party in East Hampton. Doe’s attorneys have since amended the complaint, correcting the timeline and acknowledging errors made in the rush to file the suit.
Doe said the trauma of the alleged incident has affected every aspect of his life, including his marriage, which ended as a result. “It affects how you trust people, how you build relationships,” he explained.
He also claimed that a well-known celebrity witnessed the alleged assault and reacted dismissively. “There was one high-profile individual who saw what happened and found it amusing,” Doe told CNN, though he declined to name the individual.
In his lawsuit, Doe is seeking compensatory and punitive damages for the physical, emotional, and professional harm he says he’s endured.
