The group of hackers that were most known for shaking things up following the Mike Brown shooting, have impostors who have turned their sights to Kanye West.
Someone claiming to be part of the “Anonymous” group dropped a video centered around Kanye’s post-Grammy rant, which he has apologized for. Apparently the apology was not accepted and Anonymous has a few words for Kanye. “Mr. West, it seems you just don’t know when it is appropriate to blurt out your opinions. This is consistent with you. You always have to steal the moment from others who work equally as hard for their recognition.”
They continued to go in on how Kanye’s mother, the late Donda West, wouldn’t have approved of Kim and Kanye “breaking the internet” with Kim’s nude magazine photos and how they are targeting him because he misrepresents what they are about. “I think it’s time to awaken from your insanity, Mr. West. In reality you’re not a Renaissance man. You’re just are a new slave that the industry uses to keep the population in a cycle of stupidity and distraction.”
They say that Kanye owes Beck, Taylor Swift, fans, and the many people he’s hurt and disappointed over the years an apology. Beck and Taylor got theirs so I’m assuming they want an apology on behalf of the public. They also say they will be keeping an eye on Yeezy.
Anonymous is the same hacker group that has hacked into government computer systems, exposed phone numbers and addresses and took over Twitter accounts during the marches in Ferguson. Anonymous is a large group of hackers who, from my understanding, don’t know each other personally. They’ve taken to the group Twitter to clarify that they have absolutely nothing to do with whoever is targeting Kanye and they don’t involve themselves in the pettiness.
There’s no word as to whether or not Kanye has seen this video. You can watch it below, though.
