Rumors are flying that J.R. Smith has finally turned in his bachelor card and made an honest woman out of some lucky young lady. Unfortunately, it’s not Ashley Witherspoon, the woman he had been dating for the past 2 years. Nope, apparently he’s secretly married his baby mama. What makes things even weirder, Smith was just seen on vacation with Ashley two weeks before tying the knot to someone else.
The news was pretty much confirmed by J.R.’s brother Chris, who dropped the hint that he was the best man.
JR and his daughter’s Demi’s mother Shirley decided to make a move and “just get married.” Here’s the thing though, JR had a girlfriend that he has been with for a few years named Ashley Weatherspoon.
As a matter of fact, Ashley and JR were just on vacation together a couple of weeks ago. Ashley even had JR as her #ManCrushMonday on July 29th.
JR dropped a hint earlier this week on his Instagram that he might have been overlooking the love that was right in front of him.
JR and Shirley reportedly decided to spontaneously make it official at the courthouse.
Congrats to J.R., Shirley and their daughter for becoming one big, happy family.
