The Denver Nuggets made 28 of their 86 shots last night in a historical blowout loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. They lost by 45 points as Anthony Edwards led the way with 27 points, four assists, four rebounds, and three steals. A 20-0 run in the first quarter, when the Nuggets went up nine early, was too much for them to overcome.
Anthony Edwards was asked if he told a Denver locker room attendant that Minnesota would be back. He replied, “Hell yeah. I told him I’ll see y’all motherf****** for Game 7.” 😂 pic.twitter.com/0LEST2oNxH

The Nuggets trailed by at least 17 points in the last 31 minutes of the game. After the game, during Edwards’s media availability, he was asked if he had told the Denver Nuggets staff that he would see them for Game 7, and he responded in typical AE fashion.
“Hell yeah, they know yall was in there, I told them ‘I see yall muthaf*&&* for game seven.”
A hilarious exchange, however, the big night from AE and the Timberwolves sets us up for a legendary Game Seven in Denver on Sunday. Jamal Murray struggled last night, shooting 4-18 and finishing the night with ten points, during the fourth quarter Denver’s center Nikola Jokic never sat down. Finishing the game with 22 points, nine rebounds, and two assists he showed no emotions, he was angry and seemed ready for Sunday.
Nikola Jokic was standing throughout the entire 4th quarter.
This is lowkey the scariest I've seen him. pic.twitter.com/KBmabbWwvV

He showed no emotions. He was angry and seemed ready for Sunday. Stephen A Smith mentioned this morning on First Take that the look Jokic had on his face scared him.
“He was just standing up and staring at them and he had that look on his face like I’m gonna get you bastards, I’m gonna get y’all.”
Ironically, the Denver Nuggets have been held to under 80 points in a playoff game three times, all three games, and Rudy Gobert was the starting center. Yes, the guy who has been getting cooked all series. The Frenchman finished with 8 points and 14 rebounds. Sunday afternoon or night, depending on whether there is a game seven between the Pacers and the Knicks.
