Antonio Brown might be out of the country and not just on vacation.
The former NFL star is now facing serious legal trouble, with an attempted murder warrant issued against him earlier this month.
Back in May, Brown was involved in a chaotic altercation outside a Miami event. Video footage quickly circulated online, showing him being jumped by several men. He managed to break free, and gunshots rang out shortly after. Police were seen detaining Brown, but he wasn’t arrested at the time, despite widespread speculation.
Brown publicly vowed to press charges against the men involved and said he would keep his fans updated. But since then, things have taken a sharp turn.
Reports allege that Brown escalated the situation that night by grabbing a gun from a security guard and firing at one of the men.
Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, who claims to be one of the victims, said a bullet grazed his neck during the incident. The report led authorities to issue a warrant for Brown’s arrest on attempted murder charges.
Despite the severity of the allegations, Brown doesn’t seem too concerned. In a tweet posted Friday, he wrote, “I’m out the country. Ain’t no more Child Support tell your mama get a job.”
At this time, it’s unclear where Brown is. Officials have not released additional information regarding his whereabouts.
