Former NFL star Antonio Brown reportedly wants Kanye West to buy the Denver Broncos.
At the beginning of this month, the Denver Broncos went up for sale, making them the first NFL team to be placed on the market since former Carolina Panthers owner Jerry Richardson started the process in December 2017. And the news comes after the teamed was named in a lawsuit against the league by coach Brian Flores.
As the search for a new owner continues, several big names have been suggested for a bid in buying the franchise. This week, media mogul Byron Allen was mentioned as a prospect, and now musician and businessman West is being proposed by former NFL star Antonio Brown.
On Thursday, Brown, who’s been named president of Donda Sports, took to Twitter and tweeted: “Donda Sports want to buy the @ Broncos who with me !” He added in a second tweet, “NFL CALL YE.”
There is no valid evidence showing West is genuinely interested in buying the Broncos, but with a net worth of $6.6 billion, it’s not like he doesn’t have the ability to do it. The starting price for the team is $4 billion, Fansided reports.
