NFL star Antonio Brown has found himself in hot water yet again after allegedly violating the league’s COVID-19 protocols.

On Thursday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that the wide receiver was being suspended without pay for three games. Brown’s former personal chef revealed that he’d obtained a fake COVID-19 vaccine card.

During an investigation, the NFL learned that Brown brought the fraudulent card with him to training camp and decided to get vaccinated instead after someone advised him that he could get in trouble for having the fake document.

In addition to Brown, Buccaneers safety Mike Edwards and free-agent wide receiver John Franklin III, who is on the team’s practice squad, were also suspended for violating the COVID-19 protocols. All three men have accepted their suspensions and fines. They will not be appealing the NFL’s decision.

Brown’s attorney, Sean Burstyn, said that his client would use the time to treat his ankle injury.

“Mr. Brown is vaccinated and continues to support the vaccine for any person for whom it is appropriate. The NFL made its determination and, instead of going through the drawn-out and distracting process of challenging the outcome, Mr. Brown wrapped this up promptly,” he told CNN.

Brown responded to the suspension on Instagram, posting a video of himself making multiple touchdowns with the caption, “Setback for A Setup! #crabsinthebucket #PureGold #wholelotta #Integrity.”
