Apple’s next event will take place on September 14 at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT, 6 p.m. BST), during which the company is expected to announce its next slate of devices, including the Apple Watch Series 7 and the iPhone 13.
The event will be held online due to the ongoing spread of Covid-19.
Apple’s most important event of the year will unveil its product portfolio just before the holiday shopping season. The company announced its latest Apple Watches, iPads, iPhones, and Mac computers in three separate product releases in the second part of last year.
The company’s sales and profits have soared due to the following releases, with revenue records being established for iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers.
It’s still a mystery as to which Apple products will be released and if they will apply last year’s tactics of holding multiple events. However, the company is sure that the iPhone 13 and the rumored Apple Watch Series 7 will appear.
Last year, each product launch had its own spotlight. The iPhone 12, in particular, sparked a rush of upgrades, thanks to its new 5G wireless connectivity and redesigned physical appearance.
CNET’s Patrick Holland dubbed the iPhone 12 one of our highest-rated phones of all time in his review before its release last year.
He wrote, “5G support, a new striking design, improved cameras, and four different models all add up to make the iPhone 12 an absolute unit.”
Apple’s PCs were also a standout last year.
Last October, Apple began a major technological change by replacing the microprocessing brains in its MacBook Air and MacBook Pro laptops and its Mac Mini desktop computers.
Apple had decided to forego chips made by industry powerhouse Intel in favor of technologies developed by the same people who make the iPhone’s microprocessors.
Apple’s new M1 Chips have been praised by reviewers such as Dan Ackerman of CNET, who commended the device’s speed and battery life.
Customers enjoyed them as well, according to Apple, helping to propel Mac sales to new highs.
This fall, Apple is likely to unveil the next generation of its homegrown chip, speculated to be called the M1X. This new technology is expected to assist Apple in weaning even more of its computers away from Intel CPUs.
Apple has stated that it will continue to offer Intel-powered Mac computers alongside its newer technologies for at least another year.
Apple may possibly discuss some of its new features in the enhanced reality. This has an AR-gimmick which produces a mixed reality portal, like with previous invitations.
