Apple is warning customers of a possible security breach in their products.
On Wednesday, the company released reports announcing the issue. The breach could lead to vulnerability in iPhones, iPads, and MacBooks.
In the reports, Apple says the breach can allow hackers “full admin access” to impersonate the devices’ owner. According to the CEO of SocialProof Security, the hackers will also have access to run software in the owner’s name.
Technical experts recommend users update their devices. The possible devices that could be affected are iPhone6S and later models, several models of the iPad, including the 5th generation and later, all iPad Pro models, and the iPad Air 2 and Mac computers running macOS Monterey. The breach can also affect some iPod models.
