Applebee’s is introducing a new addition to its menu lineup: the Big Cluckin’ hand-breaded chicken sandwich, rolling out in restaurants nationwide. The sandwich features a crispy hand-breaded chicken breast, complemented by shredded lettuce, pickles, tomato, and mayo. It’s the latest product in a lineup of hundreds of menu tests by Applebee’s and is part of their effort to stay competitive in the fast-paced chicken sandwich market.
In conjunction with the launch, Applebee’s is offering a $9.99 Big Meal Deal. Customers can choose between the Big Cluckin’ sandwich or the BIG Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, complete with classic fries and a fountain drink. The deal is available for dine-in, takeout, or delivery.
Applebee’s “Big Guarantee” for Chicken Sandwich Showdown
As part of the Big Cluckin’ rollout, Applebee’s is putting their new sandwich to the test with a unique promotion called the Big Guarantee, running from November 12-19. Customers are invited to bring a national competitor’s chicken sandwich to participating Applebee’s locations for a size comparison. If the competitor’s sandwich is judged to be bigger, Applebee’s will add an extra chicken breast to their Big Cluckin’ sandwich at no extra cost. This in-restaurant promotion applies to dine-in guests only, with terms and conditions in place.
Holiday-Inspired Drink Lineup Debuts
To mark the holiday season, Applebee’s has also unveiled a range of festive beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic:
- Tipsy Reindeer ($5): A holiday punch with Smirnoff Vodka, Ocean Spray Cranberry, grenadine, and lemon sour, topped with a Santa-shaped gummi.
- NEW Berry Merry Colada ($7): A blend of Pina Colada with strawberry swirl, featuring Captain Morgan Rum and melon liqueur.
