Ariana Biermann is putting it all on the table and claiming her parents, Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, mishandled her money and left her in the dark about what happened to it.
In the premiere episode of Bravo’s Next Gen NYC, she opened up about growing up in the spotlight and how her career began as a child.
“I have been on TV since I was 5 years old,” she said. From there, Ariana shared she jumped into social media early and landed brand deals as a teen: “I did reality television with my family and then I started posting on Instagram. I got my first brand deal when I was 14.”
At one point, she was regularly posting multiple times a week and making good money doing it. “I was doing like three posts a week and you get paid astronomical to do a story or to do an Instagram post and I made quite a bit of money,” Ariana revealed. “But, unfortunately, my parents took my money.”
She said she didn’t know anything was wrong until two years ago. “I can’t say exactly” where the money went, she added, “but I found out that it was gone two years ago.” Ariana admitted she still doesn’t know the full amount she earned. “I don’t even know how much money I made over the time period. Nobody was honest, there was no transparency and I have no idea where it actually went.”
The situation has affected more than just her bank account, Ariana said her relationship with boyfriend Hudson McLeroy has taken a hit too. “Sometimes I don’t tell Hudson when she’s asking me for something because she’s going through this crazy divorce and living with four kids,” she said in a confessional. “I get it and I never want money to destroy the relationship with my family.”
As you know, Kim and Kroy have faced public financial issues for years. After filing for divorce, Kroy claimed Kim’s gambling problem “financially devastated” their household.
And now, Ariana’s pulling back the curtain on how deep the damage really runs.
