It looks like Ariana Grande made an oopsie on her latest tattoo. The singer posted a photo of her new tattoo on Instagram, which was inspired by her hit single “7 Rings.” In celebration, Grande thought she was getting “7 Rings” tatted in Japanese, but it actually spells out “shichirin,” which is a Japanese bbq grill.
But now, Grande is getting called out on Twitter, and many are highlighting that her actions were a form of cultural appropriation after she posted another tweet saying she acknowledged it was the wrong spelling, but the tat still looked “tight.”
“Indeed, I left out “つの指” which should have gone in between. It hurt like f–k n still looks tight. I wouldn’t have lasted one more symbol lmao. But this spot also peels a ton and won’t last so if I miss it enough I’ll suffer thru the whole thing next time.”
She added, “Also…. huge fan of tiny bbq grills.” The picture was posted and deleted.
