Antonio Brown is back in trouble with the law as the police have now issued an arrest warrant for his involvement in an altercation with a delivery driver.
According to TMZ, who obtained documents stemming from the case, the truck driver alleged that he was assigned to a delivery that would see him drop off belongings that Brown had stored in California to his Miami home.
However, things began to go downhill quickly when the driver arrived, and Brown refused to pay him the $4,000 fee he owed him.
While refusing to remove the belongings from the truck without the money, the driver attempted to leave when Brown then picked up a rock and chucked it at the driver door, leaving a dent as well as scraped paint, TMZ reports.
The driver then proceeded to notify authorities of the vehicle damage.
Shortly after he left, the driver’s job called him requesting that he go back and deliver the items, as they had spoken with Brown who was now willing to pay the $4,000 fee plus an extra $860 for the inconvenience as well as to cover the cost for damage done to the truck.
However, when the driver returned to Browns Miami home, the star refused to chalk up the extra money he said he would pay, although he did give the $4,000.
This caused the two to argue again, and Brown forced his way into the truck and began to hit the driver until others at the home came and removed Brown from the situation.
Former NFL player and Brown’s trainer, Glenn Holt, was also present during the altercation and decided to grab the keys from the ignition and open the side of the truck to assist Brown in taking the belongings off the truck themselves.
When removing items, they realized some things they were grabbing were not Brown’s, so they tossed it back in the truck with no regard, causing further damages to people’s items.
When the driver began to scuffle with Holt for the keys back, he suffered several cuts in the process. He also claimed he suffered from redness on his face, scratches on his neck, shoulder, stomach & forearm and received cuts on his fingers.
Holt was arrested for burglary with battery, according to TMZ.
Police showed up to the scene to find Brown hanging out on his porch. However, when he noticed them, he went inside and closed the door, refusing any contact with authorities.
However, an arrest warrant has since been issued for Brown for burglary with battery as well.
