Kodak Black is a wanted man in the state of Florida after failing a drug test earlier this month and violating the terms of his bail in the process.
TMZ obtained legal docs showing that a judge signed off on an arrest warrant for the “ZEZE” rapper on Thursday. The docs, filed into Broward County court on Friday, state Kodak is to be arrested by the sheriff’s department and kept in custody.
The warrant stems from failing to show up for a drug test on February 3 and testing positive for fentanyl the following week.
Kodak is currently out on bail for possession and trafficking charges from an arrest in July of last year. Kodak was pulled over in Ft. Lauderdale, and police discovered 31 oxycodone pills after searching the vehicle. After posting a $75,000 bond, the rapper was released and was subject to regular drug testing.
At the time, Kodak’s attorney claimed he suffered from “chronic pain” after being shot in February last year, and the pills were legally prescribed. He was shot outside The Nice Guy in Los Angeles at a Justin Bieber after-party, for which he is now being sued by two men. Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman allege that Kodak escalated the incident, resulting in them getting shot. Bieber, the venue, the City of Los Angeles, the City of West Hollywood, and LA County are all named in the suit.
