Offset is facing new legal trouble after an arrest warrant for a serious felony charge was issued for the rapper.
The warrant stems from an altercation Offset had with an eager fan in a Target store in Sandy Springs, Georgia last Friday.
According to TMZ, the fan, Junior Gibbons spotted Offset while he was checking out in the store and approached the rapper with his phone out in an attempt to capture their interaction on video.
In the video shot by Gibbons, Gibbons is heard saying “What up, Offset?,” and Offset appeared to not be in the mood to take photos. The rapper’s immediate response was “Get the f**k out of my face.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Offset then appears to smack Gibbons’ phone out of his hand, which reportedly shattered the iPhone screen.
Since the phone was $800, the damage to his property classifies as a felony charge.
Junior filed a police report later that day, and after cops investigated, the warrant for Offset’s arrest was issued.
