Billionaire fashion tycoon, Anders Holch Povlsen, who is behind the online clothing retailer Asos, has lost three of his four children in the Sri Lanka terrorist attacks. Povlsen is Denmark’s wealthiest man with a net worth of $7.9B, according to Forbes, and is believed to be the largest landowner in Scotland.
Jesper Stubkier, communications manager for Holch Povlsen’s wholesale clothing business, Bestseller, told the AP, “I can confirm that three children have been killed. We have no further comment, and we ask that the family’s privacy is respected at this time.”
According to The Guardian, Stubkier declined to comment on the identity of the children, and it has not yet been reported which series of blasts Povlsen’s children died in. However, an Instagram account reportedly owned by Povlsen’s oldest daughter posted a picture of her three younger siblings looking out over Sri Lankan waters.
