Pennsylvania authorities have arrested a woman they say tortured animals for likes on YouTube.
Anigar Monsee, 28, was arrested on Jan. 19 and charged with four felony counts of aggravated cruelty to animals after the animal rights organization PETA reported her YouTube channel to the Upper Darby Police Department, 6ABC reported.
Monsee is accused of torturing and killing rabbits, chickens, frogs, and pigeons in the videos that she posted online in the past year, police stated.
According to an affidavit obtained by NBC 10, authorities also allege that the aspiring influencer tried to get more likes before harming an animal, and said some of her comments were sexually explicit.
Monsee allegedly admitted to the animal abuse.
In a statement to NBC 10, a YouTube spokesperson said animal abuse is prohibited on YouTube, “Content that is violent or abusive toward animals is not allowed on YouTube, and we have terminated the channel in question.”
Monsee is expected in court for a preliminary hearing on Feb. 5, PEOPLE reported.
