ATL Mayor Candidate Felicia Moore Says She Lost The Race Because of T.I. and Isaac Hayes III; T.I. and Isaac Respond

Atlanta mayor candidate Felicia Moore is blaming T.I. and Isaac Hayes III for losing the race to Andre Dickens.

Moore told TMZ that she lost the ATL runoff race because T.I. and Hayes had been spreading “lies” about her and her policies, and now she is calling them out in hopes that others do the same.

According to Moore, they propagated false information about her based on a re-posted story with the headline “Woman Running for Atlanta Mayor Promises to CLOSE ALL STRIP CLUBS!!!”

The original source was not linked to T.I. or Hayes, however, but the article may easily be accessed through a search.

Moore was quoted out of context in the story, speaking about special use permits for particular businesses and not strip cubs.

Instead, Moore was talking about recording studios. She claims she never mentioned strip clubs during the campaign and believes T.I. was well aware of this when he displayed the fabricated headline.

Even though she lost, it appears that T.I. and Hayes’ efforts were successful, which she dismisses as total BS.

In response to Moore’s claims, both T.I. and Hayes took to Instagram to defend themselves.

T.I. said in an IG video, “If you’re saying you didn’t really plan to close down the strip clubs, whatever… That’s old news, now,” he said. “You lost sight of one thing; This culture. The creatives in this city, we run this town. … She say that celebrities shouldn’t even be involved with politics. That sounds eerily similar to when people said to LeBron, ‘Shut up and dribble.’ Right? You see it’s that very energy, the tone of that, is the reason why you aren’t fit to sit in the seat of the mayor of Atlanta. You don’t understand, you dig? We run this town.”

Hayes also took to IG to say, “Just to be clear @mooreforatlanta lost waaaaay before Tuesday. The voters in already spoken before any mention of strip clubs came to the conversation. The moment she opened her mouth about the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict and then retracted her post the election was over. ”
