Atlanta police released a video Friday that shows an individual they are trying to identify as they continue to investigate the murder of Koko Da Doll.
Doll, a 35-year-old transgender woman and star of the documentary “Kokomo City,” was killed last Tuesday night.
Authorities found a person shot at a Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW location and pronounced them dead.
CrimeStoppers Atlanta put out a notice Friday afternoon with a video of a person that APD’s Homicide Unit wants to identify “to assist with the current investigation.”
APD did not identify Koko Da Doll as the homicide victim in this case, but the date and the address listed align with the night and location of Koko’s killing.
Police did not identify the individual as a suspect or person of interest, and it is not clear what connection the person has with the case, 11 Alive News reported.
Anyone with information on Koko’s case is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
