Atlanta Police Searching For Employee Who Shot Co-Worker at ‘RHOA’ Stars Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s Restaurant– Update: Kandi’s Cousin Chef Melvin Identified as Victim

Authorities are searching for the suspect responsible for the shooting at RHOA stars Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s restaurant.

On Wednesday night at Blaze Steak and Seafood, an employee was shot in the arm by a co-worker. Fulton County’s Lt. Rogers says the employee got into a fight with the suspect, which led to the shooting.

The suspect fled the scene before police arrived, and the employee was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities did not release the name of the suspect or victim. However, Kandi’s cousin Chef Melvin, who appeared on Bravo’s Kandi & the Gang, identified himself as the shooting victim via his Instagram story.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star and her husband Todd Tucker opened the restaurant in 2020, which was named after the couple’s daughter, Blaze Tucker.

The couple also owns the Old Lady Gang Southern Cuisine in East Point. In 2020, three people were shot after a man entered the building targeting another man. Two additional bystanders were also shot in the incident.
