Atlanta Woman Wakes Up To Find Exotic African Cat On Her Bed

An Atlanta woman woke up to a strange bedfellow when an exotic cat that’s native in Africa jumped into bed with her on Wednesday morning.

According to CNN, Kristine Frank told the outlet that the cat came into the house through a door that was left open shortly after her husband stepped outside to walk their dog.

The bold feline went right up to Frank’s face before she scared it off her bed.

“I said, ‘That’s not a normal house cat. I don’t know what that is, but I am terrified right now,'” she recalled.

The woman described how she slowly got out of the room as her husband opened a bedroom door that led outside, allowing the cat to leave.

“Afterwards I was like, ‘Was that a bobcat? Was it a leopard? Was it a baby? Was it a mom?'” Frank explained.

The woman then called animal control, who told her to contact the Department of Natural Resources, which is currently investigating the incident.

The cat is still on the loose somewhere. Frank believes the serval, which she estimated to be about 2-and-a-half feet tall, is being kept as someone’s pet.
