One thing about Atlanta, we all a celebrity. But a new terminal that’s being added for the rich and famous will definitely tell us who are the “who’s who.”
A private luxury airport terminal operator known for catering to Hollywood stars is coming to Hartsfield-Jackson International. The terminal will be for A-list passengers or those willing to pay thousands for exclusive entry and exit from the world’s busiest airport, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
The company, called PS and formerly known as The Private Suite, has operated a private terminal at Los Angeles International Airport for the well-known and rich.
Hartsfield-Jackson has become a frequent gateway for celebrities, especially since Georgia is a white-hot film industry. The state has become one of the top locations for both TV and film.
“The city of Atlanta is one of the few places where a PS terminal will be a perfect fit,” said PS co-CEO Joshua Gausman in a written statement.
PS has teamed up with Signature Aviation, which already operates an aviation terminal for private planes at the Atlanta airport. The two will lease one of Signature’s two buildings located on the north side of Hartsfield-Jackson’s airfield. The partnership would allow deep-pocketed passengers to skip the main security lines and check-in at the new private terminal starting this fall.
PS announced it will have private security screening and Customs clearance, as well as chauffeured transportation to and from the passenger’s aircraft. There will also be menus with food and cocktails for both departures and arrivals.
