Atlantic Records Teases Dropping Cardi B’s Album This Year, Even if They Have to ‘Take It’

Cardi B might be dropping her sophomore album after all.

After the ‘Enough’ rapper declared on X earlier this week that she would no longer release her long-awaited album, Atlantic Records teased that they would still be putting it out anyway.

“Cardi B’s upcoming album is one of the most anticipated this year. We can’t wait to put it out, even if we have to sneak into her studio and take it!,” the account tweeted.

Fans weren’t too pleased when Cardi addressed complaints about the delayed album on X.

“Anyway NO album this year. I don’t care, I’m relaxing this year,” she wrote. “Dropping these features I already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”

The label was responding to her Rolling Stone interview, where she discussed fans eagerly awaiting her new album. However, the album still does not have a title, key features, or a few tracks.

Let’s hope Atlantic can deliver that sophomore album soon because the Bardi Gang is eagerly waiting for it.
