In spite of what her family claims were an attempt to scare and intimidated her away, R. Kelly’s former girlfriend, Azriel Clary, stands firm in testifying against him in his case of federal sex crimes.
Angelo, Azriel’s father, told TMZ that no one is pressuring his daughter to testify; it’s her choice based on her view of what Kelly did to her and others, and she wants to do it for the sake of justice and to show what a monster he is.
However, many of Kelly’s fans aren’t too happy about her testifying.
Azriel and her family have allegedly been the subject of numerous internet threats and attacks, including people exposing their contact information and harassing them at work.
If that wasn’t enough, last year Azriel’s car was set on fire, and just a few months ago, a man was charged for the fire.
Because of all this, Angelo says his daughter’s stress level is high as she gets ready but believes Azriel won’t back down.
As of now, Azriel is going to be testifying in courts sometime next week, and when she does… Angelo is going to be there to help her.
According to TMZ, Azriel is looking forward to showing her strength and telling her truth.
