Wild ‘N Out star B. Simone is confirming reports that singer DaniLeigh had her removed from an episode of the hit MTV show. Hollywood Unlocked was the first to report this week that the “Easy” singer had the comedian not appear in the episode over claims that she was seeing her ex, rapper DaBaby, while they were still together.
On Wednesday’s episode of “Tamron Hall,” B. Simone discussed the matter while speaking with Hall and Kim Coles, who she co-stars with in the new Bounce series, “Finding Happy.”
“You know what? I’m going to answer that very simply. It is true, but we’re gonna have grace for that situation. I don’t agree with it, but I do understand it, especially…you know, she’s not that mature, so we’re just gonna have grace for her and move forward.” She continued, “I know that sounds like…I don’t even have a publicist, that sounds like the publicist answer, but I’ve had time to think about it and not react emotionally, and that’s genuinely how I feel.”
While MTV has not verified that indeed was the reason B. Simone did not appear on that specific episode, she’s confident Dani is behind the whole ordeal.
DaBaby and B. Simone’s dating rumors ignited in 2019 after the comedian brought a cutout photo of DaBaby to a Halloween party, where she was dressed as a bride. The rapper later invited B. Simone to star as the leading lady in his music video, “Find My Way.” While B. SImone denied the two were an item, looks like DaniLeigh wasn’t buying it.
Dani and DaBaby went public with their relationship in 2020 and later split in February 2021. They share a two-year-old daughter, Velour.
