Boyz N The Hood and Baby Boy are being recognized by the American Black Film Festival and Sony Pictures Entertainment in honor of director John Singleton’s legacy.
Cast members from both films reunited for a conversation moderated by The Undefeated’s Kelley L. Carter. Regina King, Taraji P. Henson, Morris Chestnut, Tyrese Gibson, AJ Johnson, and Angell Cromwell were on hand for the discussion.
Both films, as well as the tribute to Singleton, will be available to stream on the ABFF PLAY global platform June 25th-27th. Fans will also have an opportunity to tune into the cast tribute which will make its debut exclusively on ABFF PLAY, which can be accessed via the web at abffplay.com and mobile apps for IOS and Android.
The late John Singleton was the youngest and first Black director to be nominated for an Academy Award at just 24-years-old.
