”Bad Girls Club” Star Shannade Clermont Arrested and Charged With Wire Fraud After Stealing Dead Man’s Debit Card

Some bad girls never change their ways. One of the Clermont twins has been arrested for using a dead man’s debit card after prostituting herself.

Back in 2017, Clermont met with a man for prostitution and after their rendezvous, the Yeezy model stole his debit card. The man was found “dead in his apartment the next morning from a drug overdose.” The man had overdosed on cocaine and fentanyl. Investigators were able to obtain his iPhone, wallet and a loose condom from his bed following his death. In his phone were text messages between him and Clermont.

A doorman told officials Clermont said her name was “Audrey” and was with the unnamed man several hours before he was found dead. There are no reports on whether or not the man was dead before she allegedly took the debit card. Evidence shows the twin used $20,000 of the man’s money to pay her rent, phone bills, purchase flights and several other online purchases, which included clothes and other merchandise.

The former bad girl prostituted herself for $400, according to the texts. U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman said, “As alleged, Shannade Clermont, a former cast member of the “Bad Girls Club,” lived up to her reality series reputation.” He continued, “Clermont’s new reality is federal prosecution for her alleged nefarious conduct.” 

Clermont was charged with wire fraud, access device fraud and aggravated identity theft.
