Baller Alert Exclusive – Angela Simmons Executive Producing New Reality Show Featuring Hip Hop Kids

Angela Simmons is cooking up something major and we’re spilling the tea first! Baller Alert learns exclusively that Angela Simmons, daughter of Run DMC’s Rev Run, is executive producing a new reality show featuring the children of some of hip hop’s biggest legends.

The title of the show has not been revealed but the cast will feature Angela Simmons (daughter of Rev Run), Romeo Miller (son of Master P), TJ Mizell (son of Jam Master Jay), Boogie Dash (son of Damon Dash) and Tiffany Lighty (daughter of Chris Lighty). The show will focus on the lives of these young moguls outside of being the spawn of hip hop legends. We’ll get to peek into Angela’s budding fashion career, see TJ follow in his father’s footsteps as a DJ, and get a more in depth look into Boogie’s cookie business Dame Dash was gushing about on The Breakfast Club.

The cast has been spotted filming in New York and Miami over the last few weeks. It explains why you’ve been seeing a lot of these young faces hanging around each other a lot more lately. The show is set to premiere on WeTV or Oxygen this summer.

The cast seems to be pretty well rounded and all have things going on in their lives so I suspect that the ratchetness will be at a minimum. Judging from photos, we will absolutely be seeing some of the fathers on the show as well. Though they’ve tried to keep details of the show pretty quiet, a quick look through Angela and TJ’s Instagram pages and it tells you everything you need to know. I’m interested in seeing this show.
