We ran into R&B singer Mila J while on the 2014 BET Hip Hop Awards red carpet, and since it had only been a few days since rumors of her dating Trey Songz surfaced, we HAD to ask. However, we weren’t ready for the tea that was about to spill along the way.
As expected, Mila J neither confirmed or denied dating Trey Songz, but that’s not the real story. The REAL story was what we spotted shortly before the interview. Before Mila stopped to talk with us, we noticed she was walking down the carpet with someone, even stopping to take a photo or two with him before he ducked back into the background. At first, we really couldn’t make out who he was. He didn’t look famous, he wasn’t dressed up, didn’t even look like he shaved that day. Who was this guy? As he got closer, we instantly figured out who it was. Mila J’s mystery man was none other than ROMEO of Immature (IMx). Yes, the one with the blonde braids and eye patch!
It was awfully random to see him on the carpet. Now, whether they are truly an item is to be determined, but they definitely posed for a few flicks before Romeo retreated to the background again. And she was only with one other male, who happened to be her stylist.
Just a random fact: Mila J is Jhene Aiko’s sister. Jhene Aiko was signed to T.U.G (Chris Stokes record label) along with Immature and B2K. Mila J was also signed to the label where she sang in a group with Jhene’s other sisters. Jhene got pregnant by Omarion’s younger brother, O’Ryan. If Mila J and Romeo are dating (or ever did) it certainly wouldn’t be a stretch. They would’ve known each other for over a decade.
