Here is Part two of my interview with Adult Film Star, Mr. Marcus. I wanted to go back and touch on this “rash” subject.
“Listen that picture is like whatever because in reality if you’re standing there looking at it,trust me the girl went and did, but it looked like it was f*****g dry skin. I put on that damn lotion thought it was gonna make it feel better or look better. I thought it was because of f***ing vitamins I shoulda been taken. I’ve been stressing about a lot of different things. Stress can do s**t to your body do things to the way you think do things.”
On Doing 30 Days Of Jail Time & Community Service
“It was time served simple as that, jail is jail. We’re working it out not so much (community) labor, but community effective. It’s unfortunate, I’d rather it not have happened. I’m sorry for the way it looks, you gotta understand the media twists the hell outta this sh**, especially the Huffington Post. It’s also very political, it’s just unfortunate. I caught something curable, a bacteria that’s curable and the only thing I messed up with,is the test because they just didn’t know any better, the clinic I was at. People just wanna give me a hard time, cuz they gotta give somebody a hard time. No one’s sympathetic or gives a f*** about p0rn stars.”
On Whether Or Not He Knows Who Gave Him Syphilis
“I have this fantasy that I’m going to get an email saying, “I gave this to you, I’m the one who did it sorry about that.” Girls come and go, it sucks, it changed the way I look at things I pulled back big time from the biz. I see a lot of s**t in people, especially sexually.”
On How His Family Is Dealing With The Fiasco
“My wife is good, we been through a lot of s**t. It ain’t easy for anybody, especially if you’re on the front page of the news & everybody labels you this way, it kinda sucks. My sister recently died in 2010 and I take care of my sister’s kids along with my mom. It’s on me. It’s on me and my mom, this sh** don’t help, this sh** has NOT helped.”
On Whether Or Not He’s Been Treated Differently By Colleagues & Whether He Has New Films On The Way
“Within the business, hell yeah. If you didn’t like me then, you sure as hell don’t like me now. If you liked me in the beginning, your friendship is probably stronger. I haven’t looked or even asked about (scenes), I don’t know I just feel like I seen so much s**t happened, I’m skeptical of motherf*****s. I don’t know who’s gonna f** with me. I haven’t done a scene since, I’ve pulled back and haven’t even thought twice about it. Not planning on retiring, there’s some things that I’m working on business wise. I love this industry.
I’m always socializing, I meet a lot of people. People come up to me and in the back of my head, if they read this news article, then they must think less of me. What I have had though is a lot more people are friendlier and I’m getting more love. I think people realize I’ve been through a lot and they’re giving me some kind of respect, some kind of peace.”
On His Goals And What He Wants People To Take Away From This
“Look, my goal is to make sure kids think twice. I’ll probably go talk to college kids about this. It all depends on how they see you in the light, they see me as a convict because of what they saw in the news. If I can change people’s minds now, it’ll make it easier to get to that level. I’ve got a lot of work to do especially as a black man.
Look, just go see a doctor make an appointment, do follow ups and get tested. Get more than one opinion and I did all that. Nobody said nothing about syphilis until I went to the doctor and it was as simple as that and take a shot in the ass. He (doctor) eased all my fears. Unfortunately, you had people who didn’t know and it snowballed. It shouldn’t have, but it did.”
This storm isn’t over for Mr. Marcus, he has a LONG way to go and a lot of rebuilding and gaining trust from people in the industry and people in general. Some are just closed-minded to the fact of “what he did” that they just don’t want to hear ANY excuses on him contracting syphilis and filming with women. Of course, we’re not going to give a blind eye to the fact that he had a rash on his penis and not go to the doctor first and instead go online for a diagnosis. We ALL have in one point in our lives gone to the “innanets” to find out what we have, because we “SWEAR” we can self-diagnose ourselves and just follow Dr. WebMd’s directions.
I’m also sure a lot of you are going to mention the fact that he’s been in the industry for 15+ years and the only STD’s he knows about are chlamydia and gonorrhea. He should know better because hell, YOU, know about every STD out there. I know it’s hard to say don’t judge him, because I did. Mr. Marcus wished he handled this situation better, he didn’t BUT he’s trying to make up his mistakes. Let him, don’t tear him down. He KNOWS he f****d up, we don’t need to bash him in the head.
BUT….. I’m sure most of us will!
